How to slice chicken breasts

Steps:

First, cut the chicken breast into thin slices. Heat a frying pan with some vegetable oil. Pop the chicken breast slices in the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side on high heat. Now cover the pan and turn the heat into low and cook for about 5-7 minutes. This totally depends on size of chicken you are using. However, you can know when the chicken is done by using a fork. Poke the chicken and see if it’s still pinkish inside or has turned fully white and soft. If it’s still pink, cook for few more minutes. Overcooked chicken won’t have a good taste. Make sure you cook the chicken right for better results.

How it should look before you cover the pan.

After the chicken is done, let it sit for 5 minutes to cool down. While that’s happening, cut some veggies. Slice good amount of onions into thin slices, some coriander leaves, few lemons and green chilis. You won’t go wrong with the amount of veggies so add as much as you desire.

Okay now time to shred the chicken. Use two forks to do this. Look at the pictures to get a better idea. If the chicken is cooked just right, this process will be very easy. Now add all these in a large bowl with all the veggies you cut a while ago. Add spices to taste. Add good amount of ginger garlic paste and about 2 tablespoon of mustard oil.

Now this step is important for a different taste. Heat a generous amount of mustard oil in a pan and add some dried red chilis. Add some turmeric powder and cook for about 45 seconds to a minute. Now add this to the bowl and mix well. Taste and make sure it is well spiced.

zEnjoy this lovely recipe this festive season 😀
